SMS Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 24, 2026

This SMS Privacy Policy explains how Meditranz ("we," "us," or "our") handles mobile phone numbers and related information in connection with the text-message (SMS) notifications we send as part of our non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT) dispatch operations.

Information we collect

For our SMS program we collect only the mobile phone number of each recipient and the consent record associated with it. Recipients are our own employees, dispatchers, and authorized staff who provide their mobile numbers directly to us so they can receive work-related operational alerts.

How we use it

Mobile numbers are used solely to deliver operational dispatch notifications — for example, new trip assignments, send-back deadline reminders, and automated trip-fill confirmations. We do not use SMS for marketing or promotional purposes.

How we share it

We do not sell, rent, or share mobile phone numbers or SMS consent with any third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Phone numbers are used only by Meditranz and our messaging provider (Twilio) for the sole purpose of delivering the messages described above. No mobile information is shared with third parties for any other purpose.

Opting out

Recipients may stop receiving messages at any time by replying STOP to any message. To resume, reply START. For help, reply HELP or contact us using the details below.

Data retention & security

We retain mobile numbers and consent records only for as long as the recipient participates in our dispatch operations, and we apply reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect that information.
